ESL Class Session โ€” Quick-Reference Card

The full ESL Teacher Guide has complete details โ€” this is the fast version for once you know the system.

Once per studentGet Ready
  1. Log in at risingwithmelodies.org/school/admin.html โ€” lands on ๐ŸŒ ESL Classes.
  2. New student? Click + Add Student โ€” first name (required), last name, location, age โ†’ Save.
  3. Grab a Meet link โ€” use the shared room below, or your own (see full guide, Section 5).
  4. Click Manage on the student's row. Fill in: Instructor (yourself), Google Meet Link, Schedule Day/Time โ†’ Save Session.

Already set to Open access โ€” no waiting on approval.
Every classStart & Run the Session
  1. Log in โ†’ ๐ŸŒ ESL Classes.
  2. Find the student's row โ€” click ๐ŸŽฅ Join (only shows once a Meet link is saved).
  3. Teach the class. Student joins instantly โ€” no host approval needed.
  4. Right after class: click Manage โ†’ Log Today's Class โ€” date, Attended Yes/No, optional note โ†’ + Log Class.
  5. Check Messages in the Manage panel and reply if the student sent anything. Pasted links become clickable automatically.

Meet Still Asking Permission?

Check both: Access Type = Open and "Host must join before anyone else" = Off.

Red Dot on ESL Classes?

Means you have an unread message from a student โ€” open Manage โ†’ Messages.
