Thank you for joining the Youth Advisory Board (YAB) of Rising with Melodies Inc. as an On-Site Adviser. YAB Advisers play a vital role in the organization’s growth by contributing their talents in marketing, fundraising, event planning, social media, and community outreach right here in the United States.
The YAB was established under Article Seven of the Corporation’s Bylaws to provide youth perspectives and active support for the Board of Directors. Youth volunteers between the ages of 14 and 18 participate through the YAB and are subject to adult oversight at all times.

On-Site Code of Conduct & Safety Policies
As a YAB On-Site Adviser, I strictly agree to the following conduct policies:

Professional Conduct & Representation. When representing Rising with Melodies Inc. at events, in written communications, or on social media, I will conduct myself professionally and respectfully at all times. I understand that my actions as a YAB Adviser reflect on the Corporation’s reputation and must align with its values and charitable mission.

No Unauthorized Commitments. I will not enter into any agreement, financial pledge, vendor arrangement, venue booking, sponsorship promise, or formal partnership on behalf of Rising with Melodies Inc. without prior written approval from the Board of Directors. YAB Advisers have no authority to legally or financially bind the Corporation in any capacity. Bylaws Art. VII §2

Photography, Media & Social Media. I will not photograph, record, or publish images, video, or identifying information of program participants, donors, or event attendees without prior approval from my assigned adult supervisor. All social media posts mentioning or tagging Rising with Melodies Inc. must be reviewed and approved by an adult Board member or designated coordinator before posting.

Attendance & Reliability. I commit to attend all assigned meetings and events punctually and to provide at least 48 hours’ advance notice to my assigned adult supervisor if I am unable to attend. Repeated unexcused absences may result in removal from the YAB program.

Adult Supervision & Board Oversight. All YAB Adviser activities, meetings, and events operate under the supervision of at least one adult Director or a designated adult volunteer supervisor appointed by the President, consistent with Article Seven, Section 5 of the Bylaws . I agree to follow the direction of adult supervisors at all times and to immediately report any safety concern to Linder Lopez, President , or any adult Board member. Bylaws Art. VII §5

Confidentiality. I will not disclose, share, or discuss confidential organizational information with unauthorized parties. Confidential information includes donor names and gift amounts, organizational finances, internal Board discussions, unreleased event logistics, and any personal information of program participants or community members. This obligation continues after my volunteer service ends.

Mission Alignment. All projects, campaigns, events, and materials I contribute to must align with the Corporation’s charitable mission as set forth in Article Two of the Bylaws : to empower displaced, orphaned, and vulnerable children and families through education, humanitarian aid, and mentorship. I will not pursue activities, partnerships, or strategies that conflict with the Corporation’s 501(c)(3) educational and charitable purpose. Bylaws Art. II §1

Conflict of Interest Disclosure. I will immediately disclose to the President any personal, family, or financial connection to any vendor, sponsor, donor, venue, or partner organization being considered for a Rising with Melodies Inc. program or event. After disclosure, I will not participate in any related decision without Board approval, consistent with Article Nine of the Bylaws . Bylaws Art. IX
I have read, understood, and agree to follow all eight (8) On-Site Code of Conduct policies listed above. I understand these rules apply to every meeting, event, and activity in which I participate on behalf of Rising with Melodies Inc.

Volunteer Acknowledgment & Signature
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Youth Volunteer Agreement — On-Site YAB Adviser in its entirety. I understand that volunteering with Rising with Melodies Inc. is a privilege, not a right, and that the Board of Directors retains full authority to suspend or remove any volunteer from the program at any time, with or without cause, consistent with the governance authority vested in the Board under Article Four of the Bylaws . I agree that this Agreement does not constitute an employment relationship of any kind.

Required for all volunteers under the age of 18. This section must be completed and signed by the volunteer’s parent or legal guardian before the volunteer may participate in any program activity.

Organization Acceptance
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Rising with Melodies Inc., I accept this volunteer into the YAB On-Site Adviser program and confirm that this Agreement has been reviewed and is on file with the Corporation’s official records.
This section is completed by Rising with Melodies Inc. upon Board review and approval of your application.
Rising with Melodies Inc. is a Georgia Domestic Nonprofit Corporation, EIN 42-1833918, organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
